16 hours after I bought it :) I bought it on a thursday night after work, I got the train down to Somerset got it home, checked pads and fluids then took it to Castle Combe and did a full day with bookatrack on the friday :D

I pulled the side window tints off almost straight away as I thought they looked silly. I kept the rear window tint as its useful driving at night it stops you getting dazzled in the rear view mirror. When the ditch finders on the 17" were worn out I sourced some good correctly staggered 16" MR2 specific alloys, refurbed them and on they went, they are now on the 2nd set of tyres. I prefer the OEM look so also got rid of the clear indicators and the private plate also went back to the owner. (All plate transfer paperwork is present).

Hi,
I heard someone talking that there is going to be a race this weekend, could someone tell me more details about it as I and my brother may as well come down to see you guys pushing pedal to the metal. I need info about where is going to be, time, what is entry price and most important where is the best spot to watch you guys.

Hi Nero,

We are at Silverstone on Saturday. Entry cost is £8.00 per person - under 16's normally free. Get there for 9am if you want to take in qualifying, or by 1pm if you just want to see the racing.

You will have the opportunity to see some the current crowd of Championship cars and also some of the 2010-spec MR2 Super GT cars in action in an invitation race at the start of the afternoon.
Pllease do feel yuo can come and say hello to pretty much anyone!

Also note that we have BTCC driver Paul O'Neill racing with us as a one-off.

Forums are all very well but you will learn far more about the whole thing by getting to one of the race meetings. Check the Calendar on www.mr2championship.com for the remaining rounds at Snetterton and Mallory Park.

Took £1350, gave him £50 off the £1400 asking price as he was very definate he wanted it with no messing about. He was more than willing to give me the full amount of cash on the spot and not take the car as he had no way of getting it home so had to get the train back today to collect it, he was the 1st person to look at it. Said it was the best one under £2K he'd seen and was amazed no one else had looked at it over the month its been for sale.

Still I can order the forged internals for my mazda engine now so i'm happy :)
