MR2 Championship

It looks like Father and I will be racing mk2's next year and so our last two races in mk1's will be at snetterton and mallory (if i remember right, not got the list in front of me). It would be great to see any of the mk1 boys who could make it. I am sad to go to the mk2's but there have been so few mk1's that it has been a little lonely at times this year and it seems Steve V has won that particular battle. Shame cos I think a full grid of all the mk's would be much richer.
So we enter the cut and thrust of the mk2's

The cars and a massive pile of spares and a trailer to put one on will be up for sale at the end of the season. Catch Father or I (Dave no12 and Ben no21 Rowe) at either race if you want to look them over.

We probably will have some spare tickets as well if anyone does want to come and look. PM me.

Having not been able to race at Silverstone due to a clash with my brother's race in the other series. I have entered Snetterton & will hopefully be at Mallory too (all things being equal).

I'll see you on the grid. I hope there'll be a few more of the Mk1s out to give you boys a proper send off to the mk2s.

Good news. I got the money together & have put my Mallory entry in. Just hope I don't get bumped to reserve.

Glad you will be there, hope you get to race too! Looks like I did have a head gascket problem after all. Very fizzy water in the cooling system that just kept on expanding and expanding so its all in bits AGAIN. Good thing I've taken it to bits so many times. I can get the head off in about two and a half hours now. Not exactly F1 but not bad for a bodger!
I enjoyed meeting your bro' at snet' and getting a chance to chat. No offence but its hard to believe he's out of secondry school let alone uni' ! Be nice to see him on track. You'll have to get another car !! Look forward to seeing you at mallory.
