Dear, dear, dear... I am sorry Lee I know how you wanted to get a good result. I watched the tape several times and still can't tell if it was my fault and I took you off or you just caught my front bumper while trying to shut the door on me. Sorry, mate!

Definitely not, where would the fun be in that?

But sorry, my bad - I had got a bit closer than I really wanted when you had locked up and you lost some momentum. I was in first-gear, on the power, ready for you to start pulling away, and you didn't. I was reluctant to move my foot away from the accelerator because I knew you would be back on it within a fraction of a second so I just slipped the clutch a bit whilst keeping "on cam" (you can hear this on my vid) - I also thought the run up the hill would slow me down more than it did.

Enough excuses in there? Oh, and the sun was in my eyes.
