What's the best way to get my racing number made? Just any local signage company OK?

You can do, or you can get them from one of the factors at the circuits or Demon Tweeks etc. for about 50p per single number.

What about the white square that the number goes on to?

Is there some flexibility as to its position on the side of the car? Can it be placed in the middle(ish) of the side?
