MR2 Championship

Hi All,

If you have any in car race footage that you would like to submit for consideration for inclusion in the television coverage of the Snetterton race meeting, please can you send it to me at Rogue HQ as soon as possible - preferably by the end of this week. I will collect it all together and forward it to AMGTV in one go. Please ensure you footage is in it's native digital format (no tapes please) and sent on either a CD / DVD or a USB memory stick. If you need your digital media returning please mark it with your name and I will give it back to you at Mallory.

It would also be helpful if you could include a text file with your name and race number, and also a list of any noteworthy moments from your footage - eg:

Car 76
01:33 Race Start
03:47 Massive slide at Bombhole
06:01 Car in front (Rowland Woolley, car 78) crashes into tyre wall
- etc

Patrick, what if my original footage IS on tape (mini DV)??? I've copied it into a wmv (I think) file but don't know if this has reduced the quality... So would the original tape be better? Please let me know.

I still have Mini DV tape technology and could probably output Andrei's original tape to AVI on a DVD if you are stuck. You'd need to get it to me PDQ but I could drop off DVD to Rogue early Sun am if necessary.

Er... I am not very technical, so please let me know what's the best option...

Can post the tape on Tue. Or alternatively I will be in the Forrest of Arden (near NEC on Wed/Thu) so can drop it off if this is local to you John? I think it's just around the corner from Patrick?

I am based in Worcester which is about 45 mins from NEC - I could pop out of work on Wed or Thurs and meet you at J7 of the M5 and this would cut it down to 35-40 mins.

I will PM my address and mob no - post it to me by all means and I'll do my best to convert and get to Patrick - unless Patrick directs otherwise.
