Engine cover closure - pins or the spingy clip thing?

Engine cover closure - pins or the spingy clip thing?

I've got the springy thingy (not sure what the technical term for it) on the engine cover.

I heard that for 2009 these need to be changed to pins?

Could you please clarify?

Ive got pins on the front bonnet and engine cover but the spring hook type things on the boot cover...

is this OK?
