Any new Roadsters planned for next year?

Any current Mk3's not continuing in the 'Championship' next year?

I won't be racing my mk3 in the Championship next year as I'm thinking about upgrading the engine. :D

I'm having a tough time deciding to go the Alric route with my mk3, or sell it on and go mk2 Turbo.
Either of which will be eligible only for the MR2 Super GT series.

Did you not like the mk3 Eliot - noticed you did one race and then put it up straight for sale?

I'll be primarily racing in the Super GT series next year, but since we have two mk3 Championship cars for sale or hire I may also do some rounds in the Championship if the cars are not being used.

Hmm... Doesn't look like the Mk3 class has taken off... yet?

Difficult one, more fun to drive(IMO) and I'm sure with half sorted suspension it would boast the quickest lap times not to mention in the wet. The tyres are cheaper to buy and one and a half sets of tyres is enough for the whole season. Also they use quite a lot less fuel. BUT..... the mk3 costs more to buy and people seem to think if you drive one your gay!

The uninformed people that I've spoken to to seem to say that about any version of the MR2  :

Mmm, its not looking encouraging for a closely fought out battle of the Mk3's next year is it! Shame.

Its a much nicer car to race than the Mk2, but as you say, it does need some decent suspension. Unfortuntely decent suspension does not seem to be easily available, certainly not 'off the shelf' anyway.

With a 190 engine and some coil-overs I think it would be a very satisfying race car, but what would you race against, another one? (1, maybe 2)

Its a shame that potentially there will be even less Mk3's out in next years Championship.

If there are as few mk1's as this year (and as father and i are going to mk2's there could be fewer), and as it seems there will be only one or two mk3's, are we going to see mk2 only grids? Bit of a shame really. What can be done to encourage 1's and 3's?
does it matter?

The Mk1's are well catered for elsewhere and have very healthy grids.

As for the Mk3's, I guess its just early days.

I was thinking about within the 750 championship. I'd rather see the mk1's with us than dragon to be frank.

I am thinking very hard about MK3s and hope at least to be doing some races in them next year.
